Resonance of time.

It had been 20 years. While she sat on the chilly bench outside the railway station, she glanced at the abandoned staircase where they last met. She wasn’t sad, but there was this sense of incompleteness. Once in a week, she sat in the same place looking at the same staircase. Not hoping that he would come, but for the joy that she got just by strolling down that memory lane. He was special, different and caring. The last time they met, he tried to kiss her, but she pulled away. It didn’t hurt him, because he knew she was going through the same pain as he was. She could still see the 20 year old him, running away in a hurry to catch the next train. She wanted to stop him, but she didn’t. All his life he whined about being this little guy who no one cared about, and this was the time he could have changed that. She, more than anyone else wanted that. She had a smile when he left, a smile which was full of love but so full of loss. The fear in her did not reflect a bit in that smil...

The battles we choose.

The key to happiness lies in how we choose to deal with our sadness. There are two sets of problems that can come up to you. One is which actually matters and the other is which doesn't. You can weep and whine at all the problems that comes in to your hand or you can simply classify it and ke...

The Interview.

Chennai, 1st June 2017 "Chose your battles wisely and chose the ones you can fight alone". When you are a grown adult, you realise blaming your past can do no good for not achieving in your present. I am the person who did that until a week ago. Some trips are worth the realisation. So precisely, I am a struggling BMM graduate who is currently on the border fence of a job or Post graduation. Achieving neither. My first blog might prove me as a sadistic loser, but at this point of life I cannot care less. Two days ago I travelled all the way from Mumbai to Chennai to give one of the most important interviews of my life. I applied for ACJ about a month ago and got through the first two rounds of filtering. To the outside world peeping through the peephole will consider this awesome. But nobody cares about the crushing pressure. 1st June, I landed in Chennai around 9 30 in the morning. Trying to personify all the vice in my head, I was talking to myself. Turns out most of me...
